I was going through a brand spanking new roll of RBH dollars and I came across 2 out of the 25 that have a weak mint mark. The P has no (almost no) leg and looks like the top of the P is more deeply struck. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if it's anything to hang onto. Thanks.

Monty

You gotta ask yourself, would you pay extra for a poor quality edge lettering? Not many would I'd bet so my guess is not much interest, not much value.

I found several with double punched stars on the rim edge as well...probably going to be common amongst these I guess!

Chipped edge die. The leg of the P has chipped off the edge die.

@Condor I can't seem to find much on the Chipped edge die...is it commonplace?
