The coin is in Hong Kong a red flag to me already, but have a look at the reverse denticles? What could cause the indentation around them? What do you think? The coin is definitely cleaned, the photos are large, the price is great, but something about this dime seems strange. Thanks.

Edit, his feedback is good, but seems to sell a lot of watches in the past, and HK is known for counterfeit watches more than any other product I think, he also has sold a lot of Italian designer products another red flag. Most of the feedback I see from him is on world coins and banknotes, all his auctions are currently US coins.

It's a great coin to fake because buyers may pay less attn at hundreds rather than thousands of dollars lost....unless a body goes completely insane and pays MS65+ price, unslabbed.

I notice the seller had a 100% positive rating; but I dont notice a single coin sold by the seller.....watches and bank notes, yes.

I am not sure about this one, the denticle thing you are talking about may just be a lighting and picture artifact but not sure. The price is good but not sure how much it would be with shipping included because he lists 2 options (one he says is at the buyers risk, which is untrue). I do not see anything that makes me think its fake but I just don't know enough to say for certain either way

Looks like a coin that was cleaned excessively and then rubbed with dirt of some kind in an attempt to make it look almost normal. Odd so many bids on something like that.

The thing that looks odd to me are the reeds on the edge. Might just be an optical delusion...
