I posted a picture a while back of a dateless Buffalo nickel that I soaked in white vinegar, for two days. Eventually the 1917 came up. I found a 1920 (I think) nickel the other day with the date almost completely gone. I'm curious if anyone has ever successfully brought back a mintmark on a no date buffalo? Or just the date?

I've had about 50/50 success with resolving mintmarks on Buffaloes where the mintmark is worn to nothing, or is an unrecognizable blob. It works, but a lot less well than dates, which resolve 90-95% of the time.
