Was noodling $200 of 50c coins and found an upset 50c!
In the 400 coins there were 27 2010 coat of arms 50c and one upset.
I saw these mentioned earlier so I checked for one.
I wonder how many of these are out there.
I am guessing they are pretty rare.
Does anyone else have one?

Nice find! I don't have any upset coins. Can you post a pic or tell us how rotated it is?

is it sobbing or crying uncontrollably?

I haven't found any upset coins either. All of mine tend to be pretty happy.

The only time my coins are upset is when they are removed and replaced with a superior upgrade

I have seen some pretty battered and bruised coins that aren't too happy. I am keen to see the pics of this one though.

Not sure how well they will turn out, but I have tried photographing using a mirror to show both sides.
Just looking how they turned out now.

I took 2 pictures.
Here is the best one.
If anyone wants more/better pictures, and has any suggestions on how to get a better result, let me know.

My-First-

It may be a little hard to tell, but I am holding the points on the coin closest to the sharp point on the queens neck, and opposite (near the tip of the crown).
In the reflection, you can see the "50" is not near where I am holding. It is in line with "2010" on the other side of the coin.

It is out by 1 position, so 1 o'clock.

nice, and it doesn't look worn.
why dont they use the sides as a measurement for the 50c piece?

erkle,
You are right.
It is not worn at all and has not ben dropped or got any muck on it.
I think it might be fair to call it uncirculated.

I was thinkin': these coins, if they are upset, would be in discreet multiples of 30 degrees, because of their dodecagonal shape.

Thanks Nancy.
I am very happy with it!
I think it is the best coin I have found.
Knowing how much you like errors, I was half expecting you to say you have one.
