Solder, I think, but still very cool. I'm currently going through this seller's offerings to see if he has something with my initials.

I'm still looking for one with my wife's initials: N.A.G.

Quote: I'm still looking for one with my wife's initials: N.A.G. I think I married her sister. I have seen where forum members do coin cutouts. Do any members make love tokens or if I wanted to try this, what type of tools would I use?

3 initials are tough to find, I did find one with two of my initials (BR for Bryan Robb) which is the name most people know me as, which was cool. Here are pictures of that love token, I posted it earlier in another post

I can't stop laughing at "N.A.G."

I assume the two initials on a love token are those of the two lovers. If you get one of these because it has your own two initials, you're really just taking the "love" out of the love token. Who knows; if one of our wives got one of these from her coin collector husband, with her initial and his in Victorian script, maybe she would be less of a "N.A.G."
