Need a little more sobering fact?

These 1942/1 design hub doubled die dimes are the same classification (class 3) as the 1960 large/small date cents. The only difference is that the 1960 cent dies affected were hubbed with two different designs that had the same date - just a different size date.

Any time dies are hubbed using two hubs exhibiting different designs that leave resulting anomalies, the resulting coinage from that die is called a 'design hub doubled die', or a 'class 3' doubled die.

I'm done cleaning up this mess. Good nite!
