MS65 depending on luster and whether or not that is a hit or something else on the neck.
Killer coin!

About that "scratch" on the neck:
Better on the neck than on the the face.
Especially on the cheek.

Last July, I showed my very fine example of an 1885 to an expert.
I had it slabbed by ANACS. The label clearly said, "Scratched."

He simply said, "Where is the scratch?"
[It is on the neck and very inconspicuous.]

This is really a nice coin no matter what.

I'm in for MS63 to MS65 and poorly struck ... the lack of details on the obverse stars and reverse wreath hold me back from anything higher.

Nice coin ...

I'm OK with a weak strike when die cracks are involved. Nice coin!

I would like to see this coin in a different lighting situation.

very nice coin and my first impression was MS-63 and usually when I second guess myself I wish I hadn't so I am going to stick with the MS-63 grade on this one

Is that a facial feature running from the corner of the mouth towards the neck? The 'die cracks' give this coin character!

I'll leave the grading to he experts, but personally, this is one of the nicest 1883 'Cents' I have seen. I am sure you are very happy!

MS 63 details. Dipped? or maybe just the lighting?

Do the denticles look "off" to anyone? Or is that just the weakness in the strike?

I'm gonna go w/ MS63. Better lighting would help.

I was hoping you'd tell me the scratch on the neck was a piece of dust or something
and I see the stars on the right are flat. So I jumped the gun a little, but what the heck
that is one nice V nickel.
