I'm on the fence with the rest of you. AU detail, but may be shy on the luster. It has very nice original surfaces, so I'm going to guess they gave it a pass and called it AU-50.

I think there is just enough wear on the high spots to hold it to XF45.

Sweet coin!  I'm going with EF-45 (just due to the obverse high points (bust & thigh) wear; the rest of the coin is AU)

XF-45/AU
For clarification, because of the darkness. The detail is probably easily AU.
