I think the Julian II bull is a good price, but you might find a better Julia Domna for $12.

I agree too much for the Julia Domna, $7 for the bull is fine.

Thanks a lot guys! I just purchased the Julian II. Ever since JW got his a while back I've been wanting one. But today I decided to try and find any Julian II coin (didn't have him until today) that caught my interest and by luck I found this Bull coin.

Do you have provincials in mind? Because those are the only cheap better looking ones I've seen, but I generally don't collect them, so that's why I'm considering this one (and denarii are out of the question for me).

Personally, I wouldn't buy either coin. The Julia Domna coin is hardly recognizable while the Julian II is barely so. I think you would be better off saving for better quality coins. I have purchased coins of both these for less than $20 in much better condition.

Yes--those are the ones I saw in this range. with JW--I would hold out for a better coin.

Yeah, I guess I'll just wait until a better Julia comes by. Thanks again guys.

BTW anyone else see TESA (or TES delta) as the mintmark on the Julian II? And does it look like the coin could use a bit of a cleaning?

I would pay more for better coins. Tough call to fully attribute in this condition, but I think they are OK for the price.

At least they are, what they are obviously are.
