Its filled in? If so its a Die Chip or Zinc Rot. I don't think there is any premium to it (if its a die chip).

you can see the top arch of the nine and then it is just a solid blob until the tail. The blob seems to sit off the face further than the top arch of the nine.

I agree. It's either a die chip or a gas bubble neither of which has a premium, IMHO. I guess you could try to sell it on e-Bay to an uninformed collector. Where are my manners to CCF.
