2012-Shield-Cent---Is-This-A-Trail-Die?

I am looking through a batch of fresh 2012 cents, and I have two from this die and will probably have more. Is this a weak trail die or just a consequence of die polishing? It's tricky to photograph, but it's not hard to see in hand. It's easiest to see the trails on the date, but they are on other obverse devices also.
Rest in Peace

BJ needs to comment on this one. Looks like a possible trail to me. BJ, where are you?

Looks good to me. I've not seen the 2012 cents here yet.

I've sorted out a stack of this die now. All the 2012 cents I've gotten seem to be from about half a dozen die pairs at most. A different die has some trail-like stuff going on too, but it's dodgier looking. I'll post some pictures of that one after work.

Looking at traildies.com, this does look very much like other trail dies for shield cents.

@Jayman931 - I'm in SW Florida.

Here's the other die. I am leaning toward this one being a polishing anomaly rather than true trails.

Are people still cataloging trail dies, or has the interest died down? What about design extension dimples? I've seen some examples of that too, both on 2012 cents and 2011 Sacagawea dollars. Are they worth making note of?
