Hi,
I have this 1942 halfpenny with some odd coloured streak. I read somewhere that it could be impurities in the metal. Just like some second opinions and would something like this add any value?
Thanks

Im no expert with errors but looks like a metal flaw to me. I doubt it would carry any premium but I'm not sure.

Someone else will know much better.

If anything, generally streaky planchets don't carry a premium because a lot of high end collectors prefer error free & pristine looking coins.
Some streaky coins can look good, whereas some can be an eyesore & lose all eye appeal.
