There are literally thousands of "rare" Civil War tokens among the two major classes, storecards and patriotics. The Fulds' issued two so-called "black books" with card covers, back in the 1960's. While outdated, these booklets can be found at a modest cost, maybe $10 @ or so, and they are quite handy for spotting the thousands of rarities that can be found in the series. With regard to your question, a few of the thousands of rarities that come to mind are storecard from Kansas, Alabama and Tennessee. While I've never owned a Kansas CWT from Leavenworth, I did manage to obtain specimens of the other two. In poor condition, the Kansas CWT can run a few thousand dollars ... if you can find someone willing to part with it, that is! Consider too that full red examples of many of the most common CWT's are rare! Happy hunting ...
