@vinnycoin: not available in Canada, neither are dealers in the States carrying them and I understand why not after all the trouble my wife and I had to go through to get some imported. (plug {pls remove if illegal}: we are selling the one last one we have left beside the one we're keeping.) @ KoinHunter: Nice wall of dragons! I especially like the cook island set of 4 bars you've got at the bottom (that's the only ones I can recognize beside the Canadian dragons ). I bought a set for my folks and they absolutely love it. A shame though you are not using the neat case they come with to display'em

I'm guessing you got these at bullion bourse or bullionmoney from Australia?
If you don't mind, can you tell me what you mean by importing troubles? Reason I ask is I have a friend that is doing a bulk buy so we can all split shipping.

I did purchase them from Australia, from bullion bourse.
The sales there were friendly enough, but their online inventory numbers are not updated. My first order from them took 3 months to ship after payment in full. To avoid ridiculous paypal, credit card, and exchange fees, I had to use their recommended FOREX company. That involved multiple phone calls and identity verification (both with the FOREX company and with the Australian dealer, the latter of which requires bank statements for proof of address).
Their shipping charge was reasonable, but there was the customs delay. The dealer marked the package as books or something, I suppose to avoid theft. But, that prompted Canadian customs to rip into the package. Luckily nothing was lost.
All in all not the most pleasant buying experience.
When you are looking into your shared purchase, remember to factor in foreign exchange rate and fees, bank wire fees to pay for the foreign exchange, and insurance on the shipment in addition to the shipping fee itself.

Koin Hunter,
Would you mind listing the names of all your dragons? I'm a fan and would love to collect them all. I recognize about half but the smaller pics have me stumped.

That's an awesome display Koin Hunter. The only dragon coin I have is the Canadian 1/2 oz. Not as special as yours but it's one of my favourites.

Your collection is far more complete than mine and some of those are really pricey; especially the Laos Jade. I'm getting it if it drops below $200. I also like the Ukraine Dragon but haven't seen a lot of them come up for auction, but will get it if the price is right. There's a neat Niue colored coin with a green baby dragon in an egg but I've just seen it as a buy it now. That's probably my next buy. I keep trying to win the 2012 Aussie Price, with no luck. You have a great collection! I have: Poland 2008 10 ZL Dragon/Olympic Games Beijing Proof Russia 2012 3 Rubles Lunar Calendar Year of the Dragon Proof Tuvalu 2012 50 cents Baby Dragon Lunar Year Proof Palau 2012 $5 Year of Dragon Enchase Crystal Proof (should arrive any day) China 2012 10 Yuan Year of the Dragon Scallop Proof Canada 2012 $15 Dragon Scalloped Lunar Lotus Proof Australia 2000 $1 Lunar Dragon UNC Australia 2012 $1 Lunar Dragon- (Series 2) Gilt UNC Australia 2012 $1 Lunar Dragon- (Series 2) Colored Proof Canada 2000 $5 Maple Dragon Privy Canada 2000 $15 Lunar Gold Dragon China 1998 10 Yuan Culture of Dragons UNC Cook Islands 2012 $1 Year of The Dragon Bar 4-Coin Proof Set Fiji 2012 $1 Yin Yang Dragons Proof Great Britain 2009 £5 St George & Dragon Tristan de Cunha Proof Somaliland Republic 2012 1000 Shillings Year of the Dragon UNC
Guess that's 16. More than I realized :)
