At a coin show yesterday and the tables were so so so packed. So, I sat down at a table that had a "$1 Each" box and just started picking through it, and this is what I found. The picture doesn't show it, but it has this really cool slight rainbow affect in the coin. Does anyone know what it is?

Also, I purchased a Morgan dollar that appears to have 45* rotated dies. Does this do anything to the value of the coin?

What a find.... congratulations!

I know nothing or less about Morgans, but I would suspect that the die rotation would add something to the value.

Good eye!

That VDB is very nice! You could probably fetch probably $25 dollars for that at a dealer. The Morgan is worth between $50-55 with the rotated die. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the morgan? You did very good!

$28 for the Morgan

I love to cherry-pick! It's finds like these that make all the time I put into it, worth it!

You're a true treasure hunter. I think I'll give that a try the next time I go to a show.

Very well done. The Lincoln was a steal for a buck.
