Very interesting, and worthy of a place in a collection of error coins. I wouldn't mind betting that some sharp eyed American servicemen brought a few back from Europe with them. It is NOT a wrong planchet. The 1944 Belgium 2 Cents was struck using U.S. wartime zinc coated steel Cent planchets. Edited by sel_69l 02/27/2012 11:58 pm Report this Post to the Staff

Can't remember what it cost now, but if it was from a junk box, it wouldn't have been for very much. The caption on the coin holder states the case correctly. Report this Post to the Staff
