My new 1916 Shilling with reverse die crack and 30-40 degree misalignment. I think it grades around gEF to aUNC. obverse is much better in hand than photo. Opinions please.

vf+ cleaned on the shilling.
Grease Filled Die on the 1966 copper
And a realy distinct lamination error on the other copper.

The Shilling is much better than VF. The pearls don't show up in the photo but they have no wear on them.

Its definitely not cleaned either. It is very lustrous on the reverse and although the fine lines in the photo seem to be parallel like cleaning it is just so because there is only one direction of light. They are in fact vey light marks in the lustre.

They are very very faint and only show up with strong light. Impossible to tell if theyre raised or not because of this. I would be leaning more towards it was lightly moved around on a surface causing the lines. You will have to trust me it isn't cleaned, I do know the difference.

Anyway is rotation to small to be significant?

A rotation is a rotation no matter how small as far as I know, this looks to be 30 degrees rotated.

Appleangel you seem to know with pricing. Do you know what the coppers are worth if anything on ebay?

I'm only going by the photo's enwarb.
To me there seems to be wear on the shield (top left and top middle) and emu on the reverse and wear on the kings jacket and medals ( look at the chain of medallions and the cross below the kings neck) on the obverse that's why I called it at VF+ a little less wear would grade it EF

Sorry about the delay but dinner was calling me.
The peel is fairly significant & would probably sell well,$20 to $30 maybe a bit more.
The die fill, not so spectacular but still interesting,$5 to $10.
Bit hard to guage though as they are'nt common things that you see on a regular basis so would depend on how much interest there was on them.

The dreaded out of 2x2's , I hate it when that happens it's nearly as bad as running out of dunny paper.
I just got my order of 2x2's today, I ran out a week ago and have ordered some more (just in case)

Although individually they dont cost much they start to add up quickly if you keep busting coins out of them.
