I'm a coin guy who knows next to nothing about paper money. I've had this item for years--don't even remember where I picked it up--and thought it might be of interest.

What year is that? I can not make it out.

Very nice note.......... I don't have any red seals. I have some of the newer $2 bills.

Lets see what others think of that pretty piece.

DUH me.......... I just saw the topic name. I now know it is a 1928.

Is that a number 18 handwritten on it, on the right hand side, in the white area?

It isn't too bad, but it hurts the value.

Yes, it appears to be a number 18, written in pencil, I think, but I'm afraid to take an eraser to it.
