Hello,
I found this in a roll of halves last night, and thought it was really cool. Does anybody know what could cause this? It's like a big mass of metal on the reverse.

It's solder. The coin used to be mounted in some piece of jewelry.

Someone spilled solder or other low-temp alloy on it. Definitely PMD.
