I'm not certain, but I think this one may have been cleaned at some point. I dunno...maybe it's not crusty enough. I like crusty halves

What grade would you give it?

Thanks guys!

SeatedNut:
In your eyes, what gives it away that it's been cleaned, dipped, and retoned? The color of the obverse especially seems like it's too uniform. What do you think?

Here's an enlargement of the reverse where hairlines are the most prevalent. Note they all move the same direction.

The uniformity of color on the surface suggests to me that it's been dipped and the lack of any rub on the high points suggests the retoning was intention and done quickly. Older cleanings and retoning will show some amount of rub on the high points from storage and handling.

If you look at it and it looks dull and flat, that's a quick signal.

xf-40, but it has been obviously cleaned, so that would net it down into VF range.

Good to know SeatedNut. Thanks for the explanation. I was suspicious of the color and how even it is, but I just couldn't explain why.

EF details and definitely cleaned. Quite harshly too. Net VF-35 in my opinion.
