No worse than XF45 and likely AU50.

Think about this for a moment. The rule of thumb in grading is, "give the grade of the lowest face." But coins wear evenly on each side - the obverse won't wear faster than the reverse. This coin looks VF on the obverse, and AU on the reverse. It's absurd to me to think it "wore" like that, so the obvious answer if that the obverse die was older than the reverse - such was common among Morgan strikes.

Especially with Morgans, I tend to grade by the best face, because that's more reflective of the actual amount of circulation the coin saw.

Good call on the scan. Yes, it does have some luster.

With luster and depending on how much is still intact in hand this Morgan may be AU

I will go with EF-45 but if there is more luster than I am seeing in the scans, it could make an AU grade.

Typical AU specimen. And a nice one at that!
