I cannot even imagine bidding almost $600 from that picture and from a seller with zero feedback. Greed does a strange thing to some people.

Check out the record of Bidder 1, who got it all started. He's setting off fire alarms in my mind.

There is something really weird about that auction.

This doesn't make sense, The pictures are of the poorest quality I have seen in a long time and the seller only mentions the pesos and not the others in the auction.

I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. That picture is of no use. I wouldn't be surprised that the winning 'bidder' is a friend or relative who is in cahoots with the seller. They are probably 'testing the waters' of ebay and planning something bigger for later.

Mila, that is a very good assumption. I didn't even think about that. I think everyone should be wary of this fellow. They could be planning something much bigger.

I saw that auction because he had it in the $20 gold category but at that time it had a starting bid of 500.00 and no one had bid on it yet, I really didn't think anyone would ever bid on something like that but I guess I am wrong. I bet the only reason it went to high is because he put it in the $20.00 gold category and someone thinks they are going to get a 20 dollar gold piece in high grade along with the other coins
