I went AU50 mosly due to the words on the bell being significantly worn. There is quite abit of mint luster left. There is also alot of wear on Bens Hair and contact marks by his ear. I am very new to grading and am trying to learn all I can. This is a useful Section of the forum. I suppose after studying the coin more I would go AU55 How do finger prints affect coin grading? Hondo Pillar of the Community United States 1211 Posts	Posted 03/02/2012 2:45 pm Im with SDcoinguy. I say 63... its a nice coin with interesting toning which I bet looks much better in hand. The mark below the sideburn is the only significant problem for me, and I cannot tell FBL from this picture. I like Franklins with this look. Its a good coin IMO. Report this Post to the Staff
