Colonial coins are difficult to grade. They don't seem to follow the usual grading standards of most coins. How would this one grade and does anyone know the variety?

Appears to be in the range of Good. Also, is it me, or does anyone else think someone has tried to tool the eyeball back in on the obverse?

Looks to be a Miller 37, possibly 37.1
I would grade your coin a problem free VG+
Normal planchet defects associated with these.
Pleasing color.
