I don't collect these, but I think this might be a coin of the Ottoman Empire. I am certainly not positive about this. There are those on this forum who do collect these coins, so I am sure someone will come along soon and give you the full story on it.

The coin does appear to be Islamic but not ancient. You might have better luck getting it IDed by moving it to the Identification section of this forum, one of the moderators can do that for you.

It is indeed Islamic. Maybe Ottoman empire. If you can post weight and diameter, that might help identifying it.

I think I found it.But only one side of the same.
Trio of Ottoman gold Types, Algeria Sultani 982AH, Egypt Presentation Zeri Mahbub with wide borders AH1187 Year 2 and Turkey Altun AH1222 Year 1.

The real 100 percent,I took it out of the land 7 days ago.Turks have occupied my city 1551 year.

in Bulgaria it will cost 250 leva(125 euro) but I dont know about in Serbia.Go at antiques store.Ask there for price
