I have a Dansco Type set album and I believe that the folks at Dansco may be at work at doing a revision on it.

Given that I do have a question about a type set on an overall basis. Do the following items need to be included in a new revision:

Pennies: The way I believe things should be is that there should be four holes for the 2009 issue as well as a hole for the new shield penny.

Nickels: There should be four hols for the 2005 nickel as well as the new Jefferson face.

Eisenhower dollar: Currently there no hole for a clad non-bicentennial coin, I think that there should be a spot for such as a piece.

Washington quarters: A hole is needed for the ATB National Parks issue.

Now I come to a possibly sticky question. Should there be a hole for the each of the multiple State and ATB Quarters?
I am totally satisified with just one hole for each of these issues, but since reverse pattern changes 5 times a year could a case be made that there should be multiple holes for each series. Part of me says that if there was to be multiple holes there would be no difference between a single coin set but on the other hand I could be perfectly satisfies with only one hole for each of the series and having a set for each series.

The real sticky question is the handling of the 2009 penny and the 2005 nickel.

Any thoughts on this?

You could add your own age of "whatever", and make it truly "yours".

I am building my "enhanced" 7070; adding the Zinc Lincoln Cent, Jefferson "FS" added, Standing Liberty quarter Type III (recessed date 1926-30), Arrow and Rays Liberty Seated quarter and Half, Clad Roosevelt, Clad Washington, Clad Kennedy and Clad Eisenhower to name a few.

My 7070 collection is all in Top III TPG Slabs!

Most importantly...HAVE FUN!

There is a hole labeled for the 1971-1978 Eisenhower dollar. I suppose what you want is two holes, one for Cu-Ni clad and one for silver clad. By extenion, one could also expect the same for the Kennedy half dollar and expanding the bicentennial holes (three for Cu-Ni and three for Silver).

It is best to have just one example in the 7070 and use the appropriate Statehood and ATB album to hold all of the designs.

In my type set I decided to include the 4 designs for the 2009 cent and the 4 total designs for the 2004 / 2005 nickel.

For the state and ATB designs, just go with the one you like best. The type set would be huge if it contained all state and ATB designs. Listen to jbuck on this one.

I started with the 7070, but quickly went to my own type set in slab form. Much more flexible and you don't have to listen to Dansco when they say there are only 2 total types for Ike. My type set has 5 Ike types in it.

My type set mostly follows the lines of the PCGS Registry Type Sets found at: http://www.pcgs.com/SETREGISTRY/Set...n.aspx?c=144 and http://www.pcgs.com/SETREGISTRY/Set...n.aspx?c=213. Of course I am no where near to completing this set....

I have a custom type set album (albums) I've made.

I have a 7070 for a low grade typeset.
