dougsmit Pillar of the Community United States 1549 Posts	Posted 03/07/2012 6:42 pm Unlike many collectors I have long preferred coins with some wear and smooth surfaces to higher grade coins with textures from porosity or corrosion. My new Magnentius is a very common coin (C2 in RIC terms) and worn too much to call Very Fine but I find it attractive. It does have some green scatter in the fields that I might wish were not there but there is no way I'm touching these surfaces in an attempt to remove something so minor.
