1970 S Penny - Large Or Small Date?

Morgans Dad Pillar of the Community United States 5614 Posts	Posted 03/09/2012 11:25 pm This topic does pop up more often then most, I researched this very dated coin and while at 1st things might get problematic, where the pup's are very varying, try this, IF the ends of the 9 are both pointed, it is no question, a SMALL Date coin, IF the top looped End of the 9 is blunt, flat or just NOT pointed, it is no question a Large Date coin.
