I just got a call from a buddy of mine saying that Heritage was broken into. I heard that the burglar(s) got away with a lot of rare paper money and silver coins. Has anyone else heard about this?

I was watching the auction earlier today (all way too rich for my blood today, but it's fun to see them go by). I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

$100K - a mere pittance to Heritage. They'll make that back in buyer's premium on the next $67K of sales.

Just imagine how much crack the burglar bought after fencing his ill-gotten gains for 5-10 cents on the dollar.

Interesting, A news report posted on the 11th, reporting on a robbery that took place on the 10th, that was reported here on the 8th.

Of course the report on the 8th said they got silver and paper money, while the robbery on the 10 says they got gold and jewelery.

Was there one robbery or two? If one, why did we hear about it two days before it happened?

That would be $667K in sales, not 67.
