Just thought I would give everyone here who helped me get started roll hunting and educated me. Thank-you all very much again. So it has been 9 days today since I searched my first rolls. I started with dimes and quarters but got ridiculously skunked on quarters so I bailed on them for now. Been doing not bad with the dimes though. To date I have searched 360 rolls and have come up with 15 silver. Dates range between 1960 - 1968. That is exactly 1 silver for every 24 rolls searched. I'm pretty happy if I can maintain that average. Stay tuned. CHEERS!

Thanks Apollo! Its really exciting. I'm just sad that my wife thinks I'm wasting all my time doing it. Really doesn't take that long. Go through 40 rolls in under 50 min and I usually only do 40 rolls a day, unless I get really inspired. I hope your 1968 is silver coincollect1....go silver!

That sux! I hate when that happens...you get like 20 1968's in 1 roll and they all stick to the dang magnet. Next time you'll get 8 silver!

i'd say just keep saving them up. I buy 100-500$ fv in canadian coinage and pay under spot by my dealer. If you can get spot sell if not just keep on collecting

What types of dime rolls have you been searching? Have you been getting full boxes from the bank or CWRs?
