...and bought her first ever coin. She saw my collection for the first time (we've been together nearly 4 years) about 2 weeks ago or so, and while on a cruise last week, she wanted to buy some native currency from Jamaica to "add to my (hers) collection..." So right there an then, I knew I needed to nurture her interest. I just told her to pick out one. She picked out a 1988 (at first she had picked a 2008) Proof ASE. She was just REALLY impressed how it looked identical to the 2008, yet it was 20 years older. Either way, I was that she is willing to become involved in my small hobby! Both. Mine locks me in the den when "coining" becomes excessive. Not the ASE...

Your lucky. Most GF's when they express an interest in your coins the idea is to convert them into cash, and then the cash into shoes and handbags.

Be careful. What's hers is hers and what yours is hers. Remember all sharing is not equal.

Well, technically speaking, she is now my Finance' as of last week. Took her on a cruise an proposed to her in her home Country of Haiti.
So now, what's mine is mine and what's hers is mine. You know, happy husband, happy life =)
I sell ladies shoes p/t on the weekends, so trust me when I say, she has PLENTY of nice shoes/boots/purses lol

Quote: Well, technically speaking, she is now my Finance' as of last week. A particularly apt mis-spelling. Congrats and best of luck! Have you put a date to the big day yet? And no woman ever has enough shoes or purses.

Congrats! Still, I wouldn't tell her the combination to the safe until after the marriage ceremony...

I have to confess, my hubby and I did not combine our collections until we were married for 4 years. At that point, I informed him that there would never be a divorce so he is truly stuck with me. .
