Well, since seeing that there is a premium for this coin that is Magnetic and the 2006P non magnetic, I went back to all my coins and pulled out all the 2006 coins that had no logo, I didnt seem to find any 2006P at all, and I happen to have found 2 Magnetic 2006 no logo coins. One is in really good condition and the other has stains on it but still good.

Congratz on the 2 coin finds. I have found 10 of the 2006 NPNL Magnetic coins since I have started coin roll hunting in Oct 2009. I sold the first 3 I found and Purchased my first metal detector back in March of 2010. The price of these coins has dropped dramatically since Dec. 2009. The highest dollar value I received for a raw example was $189.00 US. Back then a MS60 example was booked at $600 compared to the current value of $80 on Coins&Canada. It is still a good find and definitely worth keeping.
I have only found 3 2006P Magnetic and zero 2006P non magnetic coins. One day I hope to pull the 2006P Non Magnetic but I'm not holding my breath. :)

2006 NP-NL Magnetic coin price will keep dropping as more of these are found, Look just between you two alone (cladhunter13 & folcan99)= you have found 12 Magnetic 2006 no logo coins! At first these seem rare, until everyone started looking & actually finding many of these. I think as many as 250,000+ Magnetic 2006 no logo/no p coins exist. We should start a poll here on CCF to see how many of these coins people have found or own. I have one, so that's already 13 coins for the 3 of us! Appears more find the Magnetic 2006 no logo coins then the 2006P Magnetics that had a mintage of under 250,000

"Appears more find the Magnetic 2006 no logo coins then the 2006P Magnetics that had a mintage of under 250,000"
This is because the 2006P's were not issued for circulation which is the reason you dont see them in circ. MOst are in the hands of dealers/collectors.

some 2006P Magnetics did make it into circulation.... cladhunter13 above said 3 2006P Magnetic were found and I read that a few other s did find some 2006p in circulation. it just appears that both coins have about same mintage.

You can find them in circ. but they were not issued for circ. Where the other 2006's were issued into circulation, so you can't say anything about there mintage just because of the numbers found in circulation. I would guess that the mintage is well below the 2006P mintage and that most 2006 No Logo No P's are in circulated condition and that ones found in MS64+ will be sought after in time. Even when you look on ebay you can find many more 2006P's vs 2006 No Logo No P to me that would be a fair estimate on mintage.

hi qbvbsite,
Seems like many collectors/penny hunters have found one or more 2006 No Logo/No P in circulation, so what would be your estimate on this mintage? No one knows for sure because it is suppose to be an error, but who knows maybe someone working at the mint wanted to dump/get rid of a bunch of Magnetic blanks? Based on how many collectors/penny hunters have found these and even one guy in Ohio, USA said he found one = My guess is at least 100,000+ 2006 No Logo/No P went into circulation...want to guess?

2006-NLNPMag: Based on proportion of 2006 mintage, it's likely very safe to say 50k - 500k. My guess is around 150-200k. I found (just) 1 but I'm not a real heavy roll-searcher. I've probably tested a couple thousand 2006-NLNP with my magnet. (even though you don't need a magnet to identify these)
2006P: Rolls exist, so there was a (very small) circulation run. But there are certainly a lot more "nice" 2006P for sale on E-Bay, especially considering the unopened rolls. Does anyone know where the 233,000 figure comes from? (not directly from the mint, as far as I can tell)

Very nice find! I have gone over 400 000 pennies and have yet to find a 2006 No logo magnetic! But I'm positive one will turn up sooner or later.
