I don't see the clash, Russ. Not that you *don't* suck - it's definitely a VAM-9, and a big strike - but I can't see the 9A in the images provided.

The Eye photo is to discount the Evil twin Vam-14.1 that shares the same reverse die. Here is the photo of the clash.

I've found a couple to past week. One is a 1921-P with lots going on that SuperDave indicated he would take a shot at. The other I put up on ebay. It's an 1888-P VAM-18 (Dbl eyelid with "8" in the denticles). I shamelessly promoted it in the CCF ebay promotion listings...

Here is a Friday pick that will be a catch and release. Very nice full luster and wheels with just the right amount of multi color toning.

1892-o , got this off the bay for 38$ .. pretty happy with it , sellers photos were a bit "brighter" then it is .. but all in all cant complain for the money I spent .. Havnt attributed a vam# yet , but I see some lines near the eagles legs that I may be able to pin it down with , going to go check that out once I post this up .. "EDIT FOR VAM # and INFO -* So , after looking it over on VW I found it to match the ^Vam-10^ .. http://www.vamworld.com/1892-O+VAM-10 **for reference**
