I am an amature coin collector and recently bought a coin PCGA certified, and I am pretty sure they upgraded the coin greatly! It was supposedly supposed to be an MS-66, but looks more like an MS-63 or even lower sadly :/ Has anyone heard of these guys?

Non-legit TPG. Some of these basement slabbers call a coin MS when actually, many are in reality AU's.

"PCGA" is some guy sitting at his kitchen table, printing labels on a laser printer and throwing coins into unsealed slabs with whatever grade he feels like putting on it. Companies like that have nothing to do with "legitimacy." And, before you ask, yeah it's legal. That's why they do it.

PCGS is "Professional Coin Grading Service."

PCGA is "Poor Coin Grading Attempt."
