Some people think stamps are on the way out but so are coins and notes if you listen to some but I think it will bump the price up just like other thing like coins that they've stop making..I really couldn't give a rats anyway 'cause I'll keep collecting them all for as long as I can

Haven't had to lick a stamp in years 'cause of the adhesive one's and collectors complain about this as they are sometime very hard to get off the envelope but you can still get the old glue one's from the PO if you ask. And I think coins have been around a little longer to do thing with than stamps and how long has it been tender for and like coins some stamps can get good money if you get the right one but then everything seems to be on the way out at the moment or that's what we are to believe, but I think just keep going while we can and cross that bridge when and if we come to it

Coins will always have metallic value....stamps are paper with glue....you can argue the merits of each but i'll stick with coins.....harder to forge and will always have a sendary metallic value (however little it may be).

I have been collecting stamps for 30 years, but I am sticking on pre-decimal coins now.

I hate licking stamps! YUCK! I don't understand stamps, anyway.
Nevertheless the I see the stamp collecting fraternity is alive and well, when I attend general collectibles shows.
