Yep, it's a cheap Chinese counterfeit "fantasy error coin". Whatever it's made of, it won't be made of silver.
Actually, most are struck, but struck from crude cheaply-made dies with very little detail.
You can see the remnants of the "8" still there; it was deliberately changed to a "0". So it's more likely the counterfeiters were hoping you'd be fooled into thinking it was either (a) a genuine coin from 1906 or (b) it was some kind of scarce error coin with the wrong date.
