Jefferson Nickel Error Coin? 1964 D

Mikky2931 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 03/14/2012 12:59 pm hello, i just went through my Jefferson nickels that I have, and saw that this one looked different from others. Its 1964 D and it has a die strike or however that is called :/ i scanned the coin, you can see that there's a line going through the words E PLURIBUS UNUM, I hope I am right, please help me and tell me my coin is worth something :) i am sorry if I posted the question in the wrong thread. kookoox10 Pillar of the Community United States 1054 Posts	Posted 03/14/2012 1:09 pm Nothing dramatic, your coin was on the receiving end of too much handling and those marks close to the rim are a result of a roll crimping machine from the bank. I see it all the time. Report this Post to the Staff
