Today I check mint's website and tried to see what is coming up. I found under their upcoming product this:

http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...ntifier=9100

I guess is the AGE proof. What do you think? If it is, it means a price drop. If it is UNC-W, then they goes up.

It is the gold eagle proofs and the set. Why? The X where the photo is has properties of Z71smalll.jpg. The 2006 AGE proof was Z61small.jpg. Then there is Z72, Z73 ...etc....

The UNC series go Z6A Z6B ....and so on

This is a little off topic, but it sort of ties in.

The last two e-mail bulletins I have received from the mint were blank, except for the heading at the top.

Any idea why. My computer? Or, the mint's fault?

I agree, and for the price, why would anyone take the top red X since it doesn't look to be different in size....

Because the top X still has Mint luster.

Well, you know how people have to send in unopened boxes to NGC and PCGS to get the First Strike designation? I guess the mint is kicking up to the next level by not even letting you know what you're ordering.

Everyone loves a mystery!

That is why it intested me at the first place. If it is the proof, it might mean 1/4 oz of proof is ten dollar lower than last year. The 1 OZ proof is almost 100 dollar off. Then, my target 1/4 oz of UNC-w will at least be five dollar off.
