Common note picked up this week. Paid XF money at auction (only a couple of other bidders), but should grade 58PQ or (I believe) even better with any luck. Nice notes that are not flashy stars often fall by the wayside at everyday auctions.   |

Good looking note Mr.Frog.
Love the portrait of Grover Cleveland, on the $20 or on the $1,000 he looks stately.

Stever - Thanks as always. Cleveland, as we all know, was the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms. Less well known is the fact that he won the popular vote not only in both of these campaigns (1884 and 1892) but in the losing campaign to Benjamin Harrison (1888) as well. An early 3-peat, if you will, but still only good for second place in our history behind FDR. Edited by Coinfrog

A cool find from circulation! Probably worth somewhere around 25$.
