I'm guessing not many collectors care, but when the 2013 Dallas $1 star notes got up to serial number K28800000* I wondered when was the last time star note serial numbers got this high. If you take $100 notes out of the equation, it was series 1988A $1 notes, (L28800000*) . So I started looking for a high serial number $1 star and found this. Not in the best of shape, but pretty darn high.

It looks like the BEP has wrapped up the 2013 $1 notes, and has recently been printing only 2017's Aces. Out of all of the $1 stars, Cleveland was the hardest for me to find. I finally found what I think is a very Gemmy example with gorgeous margins and awesome registration. This is from a short run of 250,000 notes.

Probably, leaning towards yes. I have a small batch I'm waiting on that I recently submitted.

Was beginning to wonder if the 2013 D* even existed. Nice one Steve.

These arrived recently and unless there's a surprise printing of 2013 $5 stars, this should be the key star for the series. With a single run of 320K notes printed in April 2017. These were hard to find.
