Interesting that the NOTE is a "Narrow" variety but the HOLDER does not indicate the variety. Goes to show that one should always buy the NOTE and not the holder!

What does "Narrow" mean in this case?

For a full explanation of this somewhat esoteric subject, see "Standard Guide to US Small-Size Paper Money" by Schwartz and Lindquist (10th. ed.), p 27. This book is an absolute must-have for collectors of small PM.

I think I have my new Favorite! Also this is my first PMG Certified Note, I Like PMG Packaging much better then PCGS. I'm joining ANA and SPMC here soon and I remember being a member of one of the two allows you to send notes directly to PMG :)

I know to most it's nothing crazy, It may not be my most valuable note, but it is my new favorite!

Yes, very nice, good start. It is membership in ANA that allows direct submission to PMG; not sure about SPMC.

Connor- It's just a section of the C in public is missing ink and makes it appear to be spelled PCBLIC Instead of Public..

I don't know if this counts as an acquisition but I'm joining the SPMC. This is the first paper money group I've ever joined.

Good move, especially if you are something of a scholar, which seems the case.

Re the PCBLIC error -For the record, I think CollectorKing meant a section of the "U" in PUBLIC is missing ink, not the "C".

I bought this note today.
What shall I say? Of course it's a LGS note...

Post-Your-New-Currency-Acquisitions!

This is my 9th note in the $10 1934 LGS set, a 10th note I will check next week.

Good-looking $10 LGS, amrys!

@Coinstar - too bad it's in pretty rough shape for such a cool SN.
