Just got back from a nice day at the Boy Scout camp I work at during the summer. I hit only 2 of the 12 camp sites and I found $14.68 in clad! The oldest coin was a 1954 nickel. I also found this awesome Gerber knife that is still in great shape and this little cool neckercheif slide. Just imagine how much more that camp has in it!
My-Biggest-Detecting-Haul-Ever!
My secret was to search the ground underneath where the the tent platforms are set up. I guess the scouts drop the coins through the cracks in the boards. Bad for them, god for me!

Nice knife.

Yeah I plan on it The camp has been open since 1928, so there HAS to be silver in them thar hills lol. Only problem is...my detector can only penetrate about 3 inches deep That means I am missing all of the deeper, older coins. Guess this money can go in the pot for a new detector!

If you're allowed to dig there I would suggest just keep digging deeper. Just assume that the stuff you dug up today is the first layer and that there is more a few more inches down. You never know....

Good luck!
