I made mention of a 1 cent banknote on another thread on this Forum and it go me wondering just how many countries have actually issued one cent (or their local currency equivalent) banknotes Two come to mind for me: Hong Kong Zimbabwe Anyone else know of others? I reckon they would make an interesting little side collection

in PRC, 1 yuan = 10 jiao = 100 fen I have seen 1 & 2 jiao notes, not sure how low the fen denominations go.

In China the lowest denomination now is 1 jiao, and you get 1 jiao notes all the time, not as many as the banknotes. I have collected a lot of new ones as they seemed to have a big spree a few months back with them.
Many countries don't even really use coins so they'd all be included too. In Egypt I never saw coins (except people trying to sell them at the airport).

Here is a picture of a 1 cent note from the Republic of China in 1939, taken off of eBay(am I allowed to do this?).
