I am a bit confussed, Please help.
In the Jefferson Album there are four openings for 2004- two for the P mints and two for the D mints.
Now this is where I get confused. In the first opening I have a 2004 P (keel), next the 2004 D (peace), next the 2004 P (keel) and last 2004 D (montecello). Is this correct? or am I missing something?
Thanks.

For 2004, the first nickel was the Peace Medal design with P and D mintmarks followed by the Keel Boat design with P and D mintmarks. Both of these had the old-style Jefferson obverse.

Sounds like you are using a folder, not an album. I haven't purchased the latest ones yet but most albums also have a slot for the S mint proof coins. With an album you would not have to press the coins into the slots but are extreamely more expensive. Therefore, with an album, you would end up with 3 of each type. 3 with the Peace symbol on the reverse, two hands shaking, 3 with a boat on the reverse. As already noted the obverse is the same. In 2005 our Mint made a different front, obverse, and also 2 different reverses. One with a Buffalo and one with what is supposed ot be an Ocean View at least that's what they called it. 2006 the obverse is different again with Jefferson looking at you and the reverse went back to the old building thing again. I think Jefferson's hair was changed in the 2006 version to look like a girl from the 50's. A lady near my house still has that hair style.

If you have a slot for a 2004 Monticello, it was a misprint on the album. It should have had a spot for the 2004 D Peace.
Rest in Peace
