I see that we have a lot of new members on our wonderful CCF. For those of you that are just learning or are beginners, please feel free to use the Glossary on the left of the screen in the Navigation bar. You will find tons of terms that will help you to understand what is being said and what you've seen (ebay, etc.). If the Glossary doesn't provide enough detailed info we are always happy to help. Just an FYI as we have many options here to answer your questions and to guide you along.

Thanks!

Very useful Glossary, I checked it out. Question: I see the term "Mule Error" in the Glossary. Are there Mules that are not Errors? For example, some of the exotic Gobrecht dollar patterns that use the Stars Obverse style of 1838 with the Stars Reverse of 1836. They certainly seem like Mules, but they appear quite intentional in their history and the skullduggery and clandestine strikings that were going on at the Mint in the 1850s- early 1870s.

OK, to save your teeth you need to be Flossary!

Very good question and I hope that some of our error collectors chime in. Oh, I'm sure they will!
