 Hey Gang , Pretty happy with this roll , found a few error dimes along with this lil bugger , Gota Dang hole drilled in her , but still a beaut to me  Leme know what you guys think .. I know , Its a hole .. But shes going in my collection , first Seated dime , so I gota hold it  This to me is  WORTHY haha .. good times .. \m/ phil \m/

Wow. In spite of the hole and the scratches, that's still pretty crazy for a roll find.

Ya I was/Am shocked ,
normally if any silver I find its a roosevelt .. but this just had me stunned ... guessing someone got it from their parents drawer ? or some kid got it from a box ? .. who knows the story on how it got back into circ .. but glad I bought a rool of each today lol.. every now and then ill get a roll of pennies,quarters,nickels, dimes and dollars when able ..
was good fun with a couple "keepers" for my error , and silver collections ..

THANKS GANG .. (may go get a few rolls today haha) Hey DocSFishn Just average *errors* that are pretty normal .. well to me haha .. Just some off centers , 1 broadstrike , and had 1 Doubled Reverse roosevelt .. nothing to "Speacial" like this Seated dime :) .. Ill try and get some photos of the Off center one it was pretty nice ..! |

A possibility on this find: 1876 was the centennial year, and this coin may well have been holed to wear or carry as memento of someone's trip to the Philadelphia celebration. They could show the coin and then share the story ...

Thanks Bud , I do like your thinking on that one , I am also from PA (well originally lived in Philly now I currently live in NJ right over the water)
Indeed my best find so far from roll searching , ashame its holed but .. still awesome for the history of things :)

Yea I'm with you there *normally need a box or more to find one* . but I really got lucky with this roll .. just hope my luck isn't out just yet haha ..
Going to be getting a few more rolls tuesday , so if anything interesting il post them up .. thinking about getting 40/50$ worth of dimes and 30/40$ worth of quarters to go through this time around ..
