I have an idea for coop if you want to do this. It would take time but you have the pictures saved and knowledge. To many people post coins and buy coins that arent errors on here. My idea is Name every error and show an example of the error for those to see to know what they are. Then show examples of errors that arent realy worth the time to buy. But if you do this coop I would suggest that the Administrator to make this topic a sticky for those that come on here to see the examples. The other thing I suggest if you do this coop that no one replys to the topic just look at the examples and learn. The die varieties well thats already taken care of through coppercoins site at http://www.copercoins.com. Even though coppercoins site only shows examples of cents its still a great way of learning the basics of die varieties and what to look for. Another good site for die varieties is http://www.traildies.com. This site shows examples of trails that come off letters numbers etc. Alot of people get feed finger die scrapes and trail dies mixed up. If you want to learn about trail dies this site is a must.

That would be a project. But using the images seem to work best as they respond to subjects at hand. On another site I've started with a photo album that shows the 1972 DDO's that I have images for and a side by side comparision of images of similiar doubled dies that get harder to tell which one is which. Images show so much more than trying to describe something. I'll have to think about this and get back with some plan to cover these.

We all make mistakes. The secret to it is to learn from them.
