It's from Brasil and it called a Reis. Trouble is that those coins had many values. As the guys have said we need better pics, but also the weight and diameter would be a great help.

This coin started out as a 20 Reis - the countermark applied in 1809 doubled it's value to 40 Reis. It's KM273.1
