I realize these are small images but the surfaces disturb me somewhat with all those scratches. I think it has at least AU details by looking at PCGS photograde. What are your thoughts on this 1875 S Twenty Cent Piece.
I personally value it conservatively at the XF40 level.

I cant see it going au.. the liberty and shield details aren't strong enough.

XF45 details is what I'd give it.. although the shield is weak there is hardly any wear on fingers/hair/eagles wings

Surfaces are very "busy" with many small marks. There may also be hairline scratches from cleaning but details aren't clear enough to be sure. There appears to be a planchet defect between stars 11 and 12 which left a shallow void in the surface. It could also be a dent.

Detail-wise it easily makes EF-45 and could go AU-50 IMO. However, the surfaces would bother me and I would want a nicer one for my collection. The 1875-S is readily available in all grades so unless this coin is bargain-priced I'd hold out for a more attractive example.
