This is a New Years token, which I believe were produced each year in many varieties.

It says Prosit Neujahr, which means Happy New Year
The other side says: I bring you luck during the new year.
Depicted is a pig (schwein in German). "Schwein haben" means "Being lucky".

The language is German, but it was made in the Austrian Mint. Here's another Austrian Mint new year medal.
